    I smiled a lot reading this one.

    This is a nice reminder, perhaps to not get too comfortable, to never take our blessings and the people in our lives for granted.

    But more importantly, to not get consumed by sadness. Because this planet isn’t going to stop pirouetting around the sun. And each new whirl is an opportunity for awesomeness to happen.

    And sometimes it does.

    I like the idea of the time capsule. 5 years ago, I TOTALLY saw me in the place I’m in now… I wasn’t planning on it happening so soon, but OOPS! That horse is out of the barn now… Life goes on, and now I AM in the driver’s seat. Great post, as always.

  5. WRITING it down draws a clear picture of where you are, where you want to be and how to get there. Some things we can control and others not but it good to revisit the PLAN at regular intervals.

    Hope your 5-yr plan x 20 works in your favour. 😀

  6. My five year plan (if I had to answer that one today…the same day I put in my notice at my job) would be a great big “I dunno, but I’ll let you know.”

  7. Envision where you want to go and head in that direction…you probably won’t end up there…but hopefully somewhere you’ll be just as happy.
