I feel ya, but as a former plumbing apprentice, I enjoyed the work. It was exciting to see first hand a building being built from the ground up. And yes home improvements can stress a relationship, but when you see the finished project, it’s a wow moment. I remember fixing my septic, I was in the pit replacing the drain pip and my now ex sitting on the ground just watching me work. Guess that should of woke me up that not only was the septic failing but also my marriage. I used to proudly tell people I was a plumber and he was embarrassed by it.
