  2. I had this talk with my therapist several times. “This is normal” she would say. I had to hear it over and over because nothing about ending a marriage felt normal or ok, or sometimes even survivable, but I tried to take her word on it and soldier on. It helps to know that the process is normal and that you aren’t isolated.

  4. Very well written and I only want to add this point which will vary for everybody. The general consensus for time to get through those main grieving stages is 3 years. So be easy on yourself. YES. not linear…. I love that line. True. True. 💛
