  1. hurthealer – Having overcome a 20 year battle with depression and alcoholism, ‘The Hurt Healer’ celebrates my life today filled with faith, love, healing, serenity, joy and creativity. For many years I called alcohol ‘The Hurt Healer’. It helped numb me from the pain of being abandoned as a child by my mother and abused by my father. It gave me confidence to deal with the present and took away my fear of the future. But my addiction also kept me trapped in a cycle of despair and hopelessness. It is nothing short of a miracle that I am alive today, but I have found freedom in sobriety and have overcome chronic depression. Your past doesn't have to define your present, so join me on an inspirational journey to live life as the person you were meant to be.
