Toe-Dippers and Jumpers

  1. That looks like an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing and bringing it around to relate to most of life’s experiences. You Rock ! Great advice on helping toe dippers along. My youngest son is a toe dipper in all things. It’s so easy for me to say lets go, and so hard to convince him to move. I appreciate the tips.

I think many people are jumpers with a few specific toe-dipping triggers. I jumped into rock-climbing, skydiving, and waterskiing with no hesitation. But snow skiing? I was on the bunny slope so long I started growing whiskers and a little pink nose! Snow is just one of the things that is really far outside my comfort zone, and it was absolutely mind over matter to convince my brain to let my body race down steep icy slopes. (I love it now, though! This will be the year of the black diamond!)
